• Chimeric Herbarium is a large-format artist's book that unravels the archives of Alien Botany, recovered from the belongings of the now-missing Novi Mir Mission, as a speculative natural history. The included drawings and field records vividly depict a strange group of life forms in which plants, animals, and human bodies are inextricably intertwined, transforming and reproducing.

  
  

  Eventually, the archive itself transforms into a part of the anomalous biology that is being described. Psychoactive chemicals and dormant parasites are detected in the ink used for printing, and it becomes clear that the reproduction of the drawings itself triggers new "infections." Viewers are tormented by vivid afterimages and find themselves unconsciously imitating and reproducing the grotesque figures they have seen. As the infection spreads further through these reproductions, it becomes clear that these organisms may be reproducing using images, perceptions, and ultimately, human desires as transmission routes.

  
  

  In "Chimeric Herbarium," where botanical illustrations, science fiction, and fictional research records intersect, the book as a medium is not merely a collection of records, but functions as an autonomous transmission and infection device in itself. In the second part, "Other Forms," ​​new variants that have originated on Earth are added to the archive, and when reproduction can occur as a "symbol," it poses the question of where the boundaries of a single life form lie.
