• 「Chew」はイラストレーションを中心に、僕たちが夢中になっている映画や音楽について記述する雑誌です。前回と同じく映画についてのエッセイとそれぞれにあてたイラストレーションに加え、今回はそれらのカルチャーに携わる方々へのインタビューにも挑戦しました。ロンドンの音楽業界で働く岡部真依子さんや、昨年傑作アルバムを上梓したジョックストラップやキャロラインといった新進気鋭のバンド、さらに映画館シネマテークたかさきの支配人である小林栄子さん、映画業界に携わる川原井利奈さんへのインタビューなど、より多彩なコンテンツが目白押し。漫画雑誌すいかとかのたねで精力的に活動する漫画家の野口明宏や編集者/ デザイナーの中山望、イラストレーター/アニメーターの村田香織なども、前回に引き続き素晴らしい文章とイラストレーションを寄せてくれました。その他にも熱のこもった記事やイラストレーションが満載です。
  
  Chew is a magazine basically that is themed film and music, with a focus on illustration. In this issue, we also tried interviewing people involved in that culture. It includes interviews with Maiko Okabe, who works in the music industry in London, bands such as Jockstrap and Caroline, who released great albums last year, as well as Eiko Kobayashi, manager of Cinematheque Takasaki, and Rina Kawarai, who works in the film industry. A wide variety of content is on show. The magazine is also included many other articles and illustrations that you should definitely read. I also draw many illustrations and write some texts.
  
  It must be an interesting book that is worth reading, and that fully expresses the concept of the magazine, which is to describe interesting culture through illustration. I'm sure it will help to stimulate your daily life in some way.
