This is a series of essays based on the first year of my personal podcast channel "Music and Math," started from April 2022. I put the title of the series as "Podcast macht frei" borrowed from late Ryuichi Sakamoto's book "Music macht frei." The first book was published as "excerpt" for the technology-book self-publishing event called "Tech Book Fest 14" in May, 2023 (see S02E16, "Tech Book Fest 14"), where only 14 episodes are included. Now, one year later, for the same event "Tech Book Fest 16," the remaining episodes are compiled as "addendum." Because of the volume, I split into four parts:
- (1) Talk (7 episodes)
- (2) Piano (6 episodes)
- (3) Music (11 episodes)
- (4) English (10 episodes)
Those corresponds to the episode types of the podcast. This book is the fourth part, "(4) English."
As I wrote above, the "addendum" series were plan to meet "Tech Book Fest 16," from May 25 to June 9, 2024, but it's a bit late (in a few days). I really want to finish these, partly because, now, I'm a full-time essay writer (as well as a full-time independent scientist) from May 2024. I need to prove that I can do this. But it is my side of story. For readers, I really want to enjoy my books, especially essays, in a relaxed mood. First of all, that's the purpose of my personal podcast.
